3rd Annual Leadership Doctoral Consortium at AOM

Are you a doctoral student interested in studying leadership? If so, please join us for the 3rd annual Leadership Doctoral Consortium at AOM, sponsored by the Network of Leadership Scholars. This PDW is open to doctoral students at any stage interested in leadership, but priority will be given to students entering their 2nd, 3rd, and 4th years of their program.

We are planning an exciting in-person session on Friday, July 25th, 2025 (12:30–4:30pm) that will allow you to meet other doctoral students interested in leadership, connect with prominent leadership scholars, and engage in interactive sessions related to studying leadership.

Goals & Content

The goal of this doctoral consortium is to facilitate a connection between leadership doctoral students and the broader community of leadership scholars. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn from junior and senior leadership scholars as well as other doctoral students interested in various leadership topics.

Through discussions with prominent leadership scholars and interactive sessions, students will gain insights such as:

(1) advice based on their career as a leadership scholar
(2) the current state of leadership topics and where they might go in the future
(3) publishing in leadership journals
(4) the role of the Network of Leadership Scholars
