3:15PM- 4:15PM NLS Meeting – Galleria 1, Hilton
Our annual meeting convenes immediately after the LQ Board Meeting in the same room. Come right at 3PM to have a light refreshment and socialize with LQ Board Members. This year, our meeting will focus on moving towards establish a Leadership Division within the Academy.
4:15PM-5:15PM NLS Awards Presentation – Galleria 2, Hilton
This session presents two awards: The Alvah H. Chapman Jr. Outstanding Leadership Dissertation Award, sponsored by The Center for Leadership at Florida International University and the NLS Eminent Scholar sponsored by Elsevier. This year’s Eminent Leadership Scholar Award will be presented to Dr. Edwin Hollander. Lynn Offermann will address the audience on Ed’s behalf, with a talk titled “Inclusive leadership: Effectiveness requires reciprocal followership feedback, not only participation.”
5:30PM-7:00PM NLS Reception – Galleria 3, Hilton
Join us for snacks and a no-host bar immediately following the Awards Presentation to continue opportunities for collaboration and networking.
